The Institute of Nautical Archaeology is pleased to invite you to two special public lecture at 4:00 PM on October 12th at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Auditorium with reception to follow at 5:30 PM the Vancouver Maritime Museum, 1905 Odgen Ave in Vancouver.

As a world leader in the field of maritime research, over the past 40 years the INA has advanced the field of maritime archaeology for the purpose of increasing our knowledge of the evolution of civilization through the location and excavation of underwater sites.  INA is based at Texas A&M University, has a research center in Bodrum Turkey and conducts underwater archaeological projects worldwide.  It provides training and research opportunities for future academics, museum curators, and state and federal underwater archaeologists not only in the USA, but from around the work.
