This summer, the Lower Mainland chapter of the UASBC presents another Speakers Series event on Wednesday, June 25 at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. June's speaker is UBC Professor Coll Thrush, who teaches Indigenous and settler colonial histories and is affiliated with UBC’s Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies.
In June's talk, Coll draws from his forthcoming book, using the history of shipwreck on the Northwest Coast to frame the region's Indigenous and colonial histories.
Doors open at 7:00pm
Presentation starts at 7:30pm.
